Classic Fine Foods

The Finance and Accounting department keeps everything in balance, or the books at least! The roles within the department are varied and it's not just about being knee-deep in Excel spreadsheets as one may assume. Instead, the teams make the business's ambitions a reality through analysis and data that assist management with key decisions.

Along with the usual tasks of bookkeeping, payments and collecting receivables, the teams also work on financial reporting both internally and externally, including control, tax, risk management and compliance. The teams also play a critical role in supporting the business by providing strategic planning, business analysis, treasury and working capital management along with investment evaluation and planning. All these aspects make working within the department a very exciting prospect, especially when there are great perks such as chocolate tasting sessions!

I am responsible for the Finance & Accounting Department. What I like about my job is that when I look at the figures, I have a global picture of the company’s performance. I have also learned along the way that by making budgets and forecasts, we have a vision and can plan ahead as much as is possible so that we are ready to adapt in case of need. I am very lucky to work in a challenging and pleasant environment where there is always something new to learn.

Overall, we are a hard working team, who have animated discussions in a great atmosphere and even enjoy spending time together outside of work.

This is a very exciting time for Classic Fine Foods Vietnam as we have recently opened our branch in Phu Quoc (an island in South Vietnam). It is fantastic to see the company growing, expanding to new locations and bringing our superb products to new customers.
